Description
Woman librarian Pattianne Anthony from New Jersey marries the wrong man for her who is a Catholic. She goes to St. Cloud, Minnesota and gets a job in a New Age bookstore, dabbles with Buddhism, gets a dog, and keeps her birth control pills a secret. She discovers that she doesn't want a husband or a baby. She eventually finds herself in a convenience store on Vancouver Island playing Bible Scrabble with a Korean physicist and a drunk priest.
